Back then, we just wanted to find some solid riding gear with an old school vibe, but couldn't. The rest is history...this is a passion for us and we only carry gear that we dig! Every item you see on our site has been ridden with and tested by us, so not only do we stand behind our products but we can informatively answer any questions you may have on any of our items.

We provide super-fast domestic shipping, and strive to ship your order the same day it is placed (before 2pm PST).

Worried about getting the right size?
If you receive your helmet and need a different size, simply send it back to us (see directions below) and we'll send the size of your choosing, with no extra shipping charges!
Charges may apply to exchanges outside of US. No additional shipping charges for first exchange. Shipping charges will be added on consecutive exchanges.
We insist on 100% Customer Satisfaction and offer a full refund policy if you are not satisfied with your new helmet. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, simply send it back within 30 days of receiving it (60 days during the holidays, orders placed in Nov/Dec) by following the instructions given below. We do not charge any restocking fee nor do we charge for reshipping size exchanges, as some of our unsavory colleagues are known to do. That being said, please do not remove the tags from your item(s) until you are certain you will be keeping said items. Returns sent back without tags and/or showing signs of use may be subject to restocking fees not to mention possible incoming bad karma!
How to Buy Online
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just select the items you wish to buy and put them in the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to compete the order.

Goods may be returned within 30 days or receiving if unused and in saleable condition using the following procedure:
* Please send an email stating the reason for return to firstname.lastname@example.org
* You will be sent an email containing a returns reference number and details of the returns procedure.
* Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
* Please note that if returned goods are not received in new condition, with tags still on item, a refund may not be given, or only a partial refund given.
* Returns of four or more helmets may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
* Please allow up to 5 business days for your refund, which will be for the full amount of the item(s).
(Note: DOT decals and face masks/bandanas are non-returnable/refundable/exchangeable.)
Orders to the Continental United States over $25 qualify for free 1-4 day shipping. Shipments will be sent by the common carrier of Retro's choosing. If you prefer to specify the carrier, simply select the carrier and service of your choice during checkout.
While delivery time is typically between 1-4 business days, we can not guarantee this delivery time-frame on orders utilizing the free shipping offer. Expedited shipping options are offered during checkout if you need your new gear asap or within a certain time-frame. Please call us if you have any questions regarding expedited delivery time frame, we are happy to help!
We aim to ship all orders the same day! We will usually send you an email with your shipment's tracking number within 24 hours. We try to have all options in stock, however in some cases this isn't possible and we have to wait for more stock to arrive. Any delays will be notified by email or telephone and we will ensure your order gets to you as quick as possible.
We offer quick and reliable shipping to Canada via USPS and UPS.
Note: Though you may have paid higher brokerage fees to UPS in the past, your order will be shipped under a special agreement we have with UPS, where shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD $10, plus any applicable duties and taxes (death and taxes folks...don't shoot the messenger!).
Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery. International shipments may be subject to import or duty fees by the common carrier or local customs agencies. RetroBikeGear.com has no control over these fees and assumes no responsibility for said fees.
We ship worldwide! Please input your full address and country during checkout to see all available shipping options. Feel free to shoot as an email, or chat with us (bottom right of your screen) if you have any further questions. All international orders (or credit card purchases originating outside of the United States) may be subject to 2-4 days credit card verification process before your order is shipped, to prevent fraudulent activity.

Expedited Shipping on Large Orders
Although rare, due to UPS using dimension as well as weight on certain services (such as Next Day Air), there may be additional upcharges on orders of more than one item (helmet, etc). If so we will contact you and confirm your consent for the additional charges before processing your order. You may also call us for a shipping quote before placing your order.
Erroneous Addresses, etc.
UPS charges additional fees to correct erroneous addresses resulting from typos, etc. The customer will be responsible for these fees in such cases - please input your address carefully to avoid delays and additional fees.
Change of Delivery Address
If your order has already been shipped via UPS and you need to change the delivery address, we can usually do this however UPS does charge a fee for address change, which is the customer's responsibility. Please contact us ASAP if your order has shipped and you require an address change.
