Torc T-1 Retro Full Face Helmet - Iso Bars

This helmet has that sweet retro styling, great field of view, and the interior liner has a plush premium feel. My 57cm head fits well in a size Medium. Shipping was extremely fast to the Los Angeles area and Retrobikegear provided an email invoice and tracking number so I knew where my package was every step of the way. I wanted a full face helmet with the largest face area and this one has it. I'm trying to get away from my HJC 3/4 helmet because I want more protection but I don't like full face helmets with a tiny opening, it's like riding with a bucket on your head. This TORC T-1 is very open, with safety glasses on I cannot even see the chin bar. But it's there, so I have more protection than a 3/4 helmet. But I was not expecting the quality and finish to be so nice, this helmet is really high end and for a decent price. I would rank this helmet up with my Shoe RF1200. The padding and cushions look premium, the only thing I don't like so far, the padding will pop out rather easily. I'm may have to add a drop of Elmer's glue to a few snaps, try to keep them together but hopefully still allow me to get the pads out at some time in the future to clean. The helmet fits well, I wear a large RF1200 and the large TORC T-1 fits about the same. Very happy with the purchase.

I love everything about this helmet--the fit, the airflow under and over the full face, the weight...it's perfect.

I love the look of this helmet, it's comfortable, the colors hold true to in person versus the pictures online and it feels really sturdy. I'd say the only downside is the visor fogs really easily and it was advertised as no fog, so I'll need to figure that out. Other than that, amazing helmet.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this helmet! It’s exactly what I was looking for to ride around town with. Comfortable and secure enough feeling. Wouldn’t take it on highway traveling, but for around town it’s been perfect. The air vents work well. For reference, I wear a size X small.

Because this helmet is new, there weren't very many reviews out there. I was glad I decided to purchase it because the quality is very high. The padding is soft and the helmet looks great. Only reason for 4 stars is that the chin strap can only be tightened so far because the padding is stitched to the straps so make sure you order one size smaller than you need because it runs big and can't be tightened. Also, the face shield only has two detents (up and down) so its hard to keep a little crack open to help with airflow and fogging.

I was looking at this style from a competing brand but this one was a better price. I like the large, wide shield so I don't feel claustrophobic like I do in other full face helmets. It is light, much less noisy than expected, and very comfortable. The venting works. I recommend it.
