PLEASE NOTE! This particular model is sized about one size larger than most other Torc models or other helmet brands. Check the size chart link above before ordering!

The brand new T-1 is Torc's answer to all of us motorbikers searching for full face protection and cutting edge modern design combined with the unbeatable aesthetics of yesteryear's racing lids. We'd like to think our dear friend Lucky at Torc designated this model the "Retro" in honor of us, but who can say for certain...

Featuring some of the sharpest original graphic paint designs we've seen, these lids are more than just eye candy:

The Tri-Composite Fiberglass shell means the T1 is as light as it is durable, tipping the scales at right around 3 lbs. Adjustable front intake vents, rear exhaust vents, and 70's style synthetic suede interior complete the full package.

The ratcheting optical visor is constructed of scratch-resistant polycarbonate with anti-fogging treatment, keeping the tilted horizon in front of you 100% crystal. Visor can be removed/installed within seconds using a screwdriver (or even a quarter) for fast switching between tinted shield options...or removed altogether for turbulence hungry souls!

Intermediate Oval shape. Certified DOT and ECE 22.05 (for our European brethren).

    Good looking helmet.

    Posted by jehp65 on 30th Jul 2021

This is a great looking helmet, nice inside and great fit, feels light and it has good visibility. The design is retro and open at the bottom so will be air circulating all the time, Is not a quiet helmet, the only negative point is that a lot a noise came form the shield that is not well air seal creating a loud noise inside the helmet and if you are not using some glasses you will still feel an air current blowing your eyes. The front intake vent are hard to open/close with gloves on but is OK cos there is plenty of air circulating inside the helmet all the time. Finally I have to say that I bought this helmet for his look and I got what I was looking for. Do not put too high expectation on it. if you want something more refined you would need to spend at least twice the cost of this helmet.

    Excellent Value

Posted by NV on 20th Jun 2021

Took a chance to purchase a Torc T-1 Retro helmet instead of the much better known Bell Bullitt. Turned out to be an excellent choice, as the Torc has virtually the same construction quality as the Bell throughout, but at a $200 discount. Has both Dot and ECE rating. Fit is also very similar to the Bullitt. For me the corrected sizing chart provided by proved to be spot-on. Huge field of view through the visor. Noise level is quieter than my other favourite Biltwell Lane Splitter.

Well made, well priced, and as always, great service from RBG

Posted by Matthew on 25th May 2021

Loving this helmet, so far! Grateful for RBG's thorough descriptions as well, as I definitely needed to size down for this model (in the 3/4 Torc model, I'm an XL, and I bought this in a LARGE). Fits and looks perfect. The vents are a nice touch as well. Perfect for warmer weather. Especially if you're mouth breathing visor fogger like myself! Only thing I'd recommend taking note of before you purchase would be the height of the chin portion (when compared to similar models from Biltwell and the like). I have a bit of a "tall" head, and a big beard, so my chin doesn't get as much coverage as it might with other models. But I still adore it. Thanks guys!

    sweet helmet !

Measured my thick noggin and ordered a medium. Fits snuggly like it should. Looks awesome and seems to be well made. Compared to the bell Bullitt, at half the cost, this thing is pretty great. It even has nice ventilation on chin and forehead that go through to the rear. Definitely recommend this helmEt.

    Great helmet

Posted by Seth on 26th Jul 2018

Love the simple, retro style. Most helmets at this price point look like a prop from Star Wars which is not my style, and I couldn’t afford a Bell Bullit. The vents actually work! The fit and finish is solid irrespective of price point as well. The materials for the lining exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable. My only complaint is that it’s really hard to fit my glasses/sunglasses in, but if I went up a size it would be too big. Maybe an alternate padding set with recesses for earpieces would be nice? Or maybe the foam will compress a little over time. I am able to fit a mic and speakers in no problem for my Bluetooth communicator, however. Overall a great helmet, especially for $200.

Biltwell Bullitt Who??? Torc T-1 Retro all the way.

Posted by William Queen on 10th May 2018

The Torc T-1 retro helmet takes the Retro Full Face helmet beyond anything in the past. Its fine exterior finish to its plush leather interior is a site to see. Has both forehead and chin vents that, (GET THIS FOLKS) are closable ! Thats right CLOSABLE!!!! The thin chin bar allows a person to still be able to take that drink of need water when thirsty. Multiple exterior finish choices, and you have to see the asking price for yourself to believe its true compared to its competitors. Or are they really any competition??? Check that out Biltwell !!!!!

    Most beautiful helmet I've owned!

Posted by Prithvi Kumar on 1st May 2018

I fell in love with this helmet as soon as I first saw it. The gloss black base with the subtle, yet classy copper pin striping and the metallic trim around the bottom of the lid make this a really well designed retro looking helmet. It matches my Bonneville T120 perfectly. The helmet is light weight and easy to pick-up. Doesn't weigh on your head like a ton of bricks. It fit snugly around my head, although it does sit a bit low and the chinstrap may not actually secure against your chin. The vent details and function are really nice and has a nice "click" registration feeling. I've got tons of compliments from other riders on the helmet and can't recommend it highly enough. Fred at also provided me with great customer service when I called regarding a return issue.
