Bringing a fresh approach to the old-school European racing look, the Origine Pilota is one slick lid. Half moto, half jet pilot: for those who desire a unique design which still retains the clean simple lines that vintage helmets are known for.

The technical-fabric interior is soft and plush, while still wicking away moisture and keeping you cool and dry in any climate. The carbon fiber inserts in the shell add a subtle touch of modern to a classic design. The bubble-style, flip-up shield is of course what sets this design apart...looks fast standing still! The Origine Pilota is the epitome of classic European design with just enough modern accent thrown in.

This helmet also comes fully equipped with improved Bluetooth technology to insure compatibility with your Bluetooth enabled cell phone, android, or iPhone. With two built in speakers, up to 8 hours of continuous talk time and 150 hours of standby time, the Blinc-equipped Pilota allows you to receive and send calls, listen to stereo music streaming from your MP3, phone, or XM radio, as well as listen clearly to GPS directions (Incoming cell calls automatically override other communications, but the new call reject feature can limit interruptions).

Combine two or more BLINC enabled helmets, and enjoy communications from rider to passenger, and passenger to rider (intercom), or talk bike to bike (2-way communications within 100 feet). Other features include a noise cancelling microphone, full duplex communications with DSP Filter, Self-adjusting volume, glove friendly and waterproof controls.

  1. Origine Pilota Helmet with Bluetooth

Posted by Paul Whetha on 28th Apr 2018

I live in Australia so whilst the US price was cheap it cost $325 Aus due to exchange rate and freight, which is still quite cheap for a Bluetooth Helmet. I found the fit was good and as per their size chart, it is very comfortable to wear and has minimal wind buffering compared to my $700 full face helmet. It is a very good fair weather Helmet. I have a Satellite WiFi Dongle in the glove compartment which my IPhone links to and my Helmet bluetooths to the IPhone. This gives me good quality radio coverage all over Australia. I see in other reviews that complain about lack of volume or quality of reception. When I turn the IPhone volume up, I can then adjust the Helmet volume to be as loud as I like. I suffer from Tinitus so it is great. I ride a Burgman 650 so with the windshield protection I can still hear at speed.
The Helmet being 3/4 makes it really easy the put on and remove. I unfairly dropped a star in rating it due to slight wind intrusion at the chin, but what would you expect from a 3/4 Helmet. I’m very happy with it and will order another one when this wears out.

  2. Very Pleasing Purchase

I like this helmet. It fits me to a tee and is quite comfortable. It is snug fitting (which is indicative of a good fit) and I still have enough room to put my ear bug in. The Bluetooth feature is a very nice feature and I get decent (not great) reception with it. Don't think I could have made a better purchase without spending more money.

  3. the visor doesnt fog

the visor doesn't fog anymore than your average visor. The volume is just ok I can hear on the freeway but it definitely isnt loud so you can never be in danger of not hearing whats going on outside of the helmet. Its only one speaker in your left ear so I'm interested in trying out the Oneal Fasttrack helmet b/c it has full stereo (both ears)
