DOT Daytona Slim-Line Skull Cap - Leather Covered (No Visor)

This is a nice fitting helmet, but beware the sizing because I fitted for a large when every other site and helmet had my size as a medium. If you are looking for a helmet that a certain father wears on a custom motorcycle show, this is close but my understanding is DOT approved helmets MUST have a lining (padding) I have seen this particular tv shows helmet which he said he got at a bike show over 20 years ago and has no clue the maker of it, might not even be DOT approved. His helmet looks like a novelty helmet because it seems to have little to no padding and most police office would not notice a DOT sticker missing from a helmet, which might explain how he gets by his states helmet law, that is ONLY my opinion. So this helmet will give you somewhat a mushroom head, but because its more oblong then round, the look is minimal. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the straps should be slightly more padded and have a quick release. Other then that its a light helmet. Mine weighs 1lb 8.9 oz or 706 grams. Comes with a nice soft carrying bag as well as a mesh dorag.. I personally like the matt leather look as compared to shiny gloss. I considered the chrome, but fingerprints and smudges would drive me crazy. You wont have that issue with this helmet..
